In reply to: lilbit 's message, "one more thing" on 06:58:09 12/16/04 Thu

Ya'll know I couldn't let it go.
I realize you didn’t personally write the email lilbit but you opened the door and I’m going to walk right on through.
Smarties are actually from England.
Alexander Graham Bell did invent the telephone and while he did hold a Canadian citizenship he invented the phone while he lived in Boston. On March 10, 1876 (while in Boston) Bell uttered the famous words to his assistant Watson. Bell also did most of his work for the deaf community while he lived in the United States. Not to spilt hairs on this one, but just some trivia information.
Superman was written by Jerry Siegel and illustrated by Joe Shusterin 1933, two high school buddies from CLEVELAND OHIO.
Baseball is a game that came from the early colonies of the United States.
Our money is colored.
The BRITISH, not Canadians, burned Washington. While there may have been Canadians in the rank and file, history credits the British with the arson. Even though it was wartime.
Canada declared its independence from Britain in 1982; we did that a long, long time ago. What took ya’ll so friggen long?
When the United States does something that isn’t popular we’re seen as arrogant and domineering and imperialistic as if we’re going to take over the world. When ya’ll want the United States to do something you turn us into the “World Cop” and we’re seen as liberators and heroes. You expect us to do something. I am sorry but I think the mass murders and genocide that occurred in Iraq is just as despicable and disgusting as the genocide and mass murders occurring in the Sudan where the United States is the only one pushing in the worthless UN to do something about. Not sure if Canada is helping with that, if so, HOT DAMN, if not, shame on you.
Make up your fucking minds for pity’s sake.
Final comment, this email started as an advertisement for a beer company. Our beer advertisements kick ass this beer company is full of bullshit.
Oh, I lied.
Final comment now. For the most part most American’s don’t trash other countries, with the exception of France who just begs for it. I have never said anything bad about Canada (with the exception of the shame on you comment) and now I'm gonna get picky. lilbit, you've let some pretty snide comments fly. I believe in the right to free speech even with speech I don't like or agree with. However we will have to respectfully agree to disagree, respect being the key word. I hope that you'll check your sources first. But it did give me something to do for a few hours so I guess that's a good thing.

No I don’t have anything better to do, I’m on my Christmas break from school.
