Subject: Last night's game...

So, two things to mention.

IN last night's game, my DM forgot that i am currently (temporarily) playing with a ghost with the ability to posess. The ghost was scouting ahead, so the DM attacked the party with a group of four hill giants, but they encountered the ghost (named, THE HATE) first. Since they didn't have magical weapons, the ghost simply flew from giant to giant, posessing them and attacking his compatriots until the posessed giant was dead, and then posessed another, leaving a group of 3 dead hill giants, and one completely healthy hill giant, currently posessed by a ghost.

Then, as the Hill Giant, I was sliced to pieces by a group of driders, but they blew a lot of their powerful spells on the giant before it died, leaving them vulnerable to a massive attack from the driders.

I love playing a ghost.


Here's the other thing... This is all 3rd edition, by the way... I don't know if anyone knows much about 3rd edition.

My Cleric went up a level last night, so now he's a 1barbarian, 9cleric. I'm taking almost all self enhancement spells, so he fights every day with bull's strength and endurance cast on himself, giving him a 1d4+1 bonus to str and con (really good spells for 2nd level). Now, at 5th level, he can take a spell, I forget the name, that causes him to grow, gaining an additional +4 to str for I think 10 rounds. He also can rage once a day, giving another +4, for a total possible strength bonus of +13 for several rounds (he has a 16 str.)

My plan is to turn him into a virtual tank, taking as many enhancement spells to protect him in the thick of battle, and then add levels of barbarian, allowing him to fly into rages after powering up. I'm looking for advice on prestige classes, or spell combinations that would allow him to even protect or power up more. I know there's a lot of various attacking spells, but if they're of a short duration, he'd have to cast spells for 5 rounds before moving in. The plus with the Bull's strength is that he can cast it before even moving into the first threatening area of the day, and then maintain that power for the rest of the day.
