As Ginger plays with the colt, a cold, wet flake touches Ginger's face. Looking up she saw the early snowflakes beginning to fall. A breeze blew by sending a shiver down her spine. "Come little one." she said to the colt with a smile on her face.
She lead the colt to the stables where Bella was stabled and with a rug. Bella winnied a greeting to Ginger and the colt. Ginger closed the door behind her and took the lead rope off from the colt's halter. She then left the two behind and came back a little while later with a small, but warm rug in her hands.
She put it over the colt's back and fastened it. Stepping back she patted Bella's winter coat and watched the colt's reaction.
