Brumby huntress places her hands on the yearling's neck. Soothing sound are made, as her arms slip around his neck. Cheek is pressed against new spring coat. "It's alright little one." she said. "It's alright." A new idea forms in Ginger's mind. Smiling, she puts the bridle on the fence and cames back with a very long lead rope. Tying one end to one side of the halter, and the other on the other side creating a rein and slipping it over the colt's neck. She strokes the colt's neck for a few minutes, then swiftly leaps onto the colts back, landing gently. Though most brumby hunters could not do this, Ginger was light in weight. Quickly, she slips her arms around the colt's neck, whispering, "It's alright, it's only me..."
