I am so addicted to the smack talking in this message board. I probably have given this page more hits than anyone just to read the goings-on in here. Anyway, after a few weeks of observation, I've decided it is now my turn. Alright, now I don't know either of you, you seem like nice kids, so don't get all pissy and whiney with me cuz I am old and mean. Well not old persay, but old in comparison...And very very wise. And this message is mainly directed towards everyone's favorite skinhead...You know who you are, stand up and take a bow, Caitlin. You have somehow or another completely soiled the skin cult. Well no, you haven't really, but if you were the first skinhead a person ever met, they'd think the lot of us were naive little sheep also. But here's the thing: You admit you are a freshcut. Alright, well I have always had this big issue with freshcuts actually claiming skinhead...You're a freshcut, you have yet to earn the right to call yourself a skin. And yes, it IS a right. If we weren't so damned elitist, every little retard would run out and claim it. It is something you have to earn and prove, hence the period of being a freshcut. So there, you're a freshcut, that makes it a little bit more acceptable that you don't know much about skinheads. Now I am not saying you don't know anything about them, you obviously do...And I am not claiming to know everything about them. I doubt anyone does, and people who think they do are usually bigger idiots than people who know nothing. But I digress, you are not one. You are a freshcut, you are still learning. When I was still in high school, I didn't call myself a graduate. I was still learning, I was still working on earning that title. Same with freshcuts. And in some cases, the high school students never graduate, same as some freshcuts. You have to put some time into it before you claim it, ALOT of time. Cuz this scene isn't very big, but we're a strong and proud bunch, and we cannot have new kids coming in every so often and sticking around for 4 or 5 months, long enough to make us look like fools, then getting bored and moving on. Maybe I am making an unfair assumption. Like I said, you are a freshcut and it's hard to judge these things. But just get it clear: You are not yet a skinhead. Only time will tell if you will ever be one. Secondly (damn I have alot to say here), your uhm...hmm...Modes of standing up for yourself? You know, have some damn pride. Don't sink to their level and be all whiney "I'm only 14" blah blah blah. No one likes that excuse. I was cropped at 14, I didn't claim skin until I was 16, and my age was never used as an excuse, and it was never used against me. Don't let your age control you. And don't act your age or younger. This isn't some middle school game, this isn't some really fun social club, this is our way of life, and those who have been around for awhile don't tolerate or like whining from the freshcuts. Do not whine. Stand up for yourself. Tell them all to fuck off. Really, who gives a shit if total strangers don't like you? If you let them get to you, that shows such a pathetic weakness, and there is no room for weak links in this chain. Now I'm all about skin unity, especially amongst the girls. There are so few of us, and we are very terretorial and arrogant, and we tend not to accept each other due to that. I'm guilty of it, but I have become wise in my old age (haha) and realized that it is very pointless, since there are so few of us, we need to stick together instead of push each other away. Damn, I'm turning emo in my old age, also. And I'm getting senile cuz I forget the point I was trying to make. Oh well, I'm done with this novel.
