The hellish fires licked the walls that osculated as the flames danced over them. Made of living flesh these walls had been used to make Afreet's home of the Damed. He looked nothing like a demon. Or as one should normally look. No crooked teeth, no slimy foul smell. Afreet looked more like a aged teen hearttrob, and that was the way he liked to present himself.

Now in the darkness, a shiver of anticipation made it's way up his spine. There was...for a moment a feeling of dread overcoming his blackened heart. But...no...no it could not have been...he feared nothing. He was the bring of shame, the demon his masters called upon to destroy lives and imprison souls in pain and humilation for thousands of years until they became one of his minions. Tis what he was, and what he would always be.

And for that he was grateful, and for that he was bold, and that is what would get him killed in the end.
