Skythe- hey. I'm sort of writing this in a state of shock. This really popular guy at my school, Evan Farrar, committed suicide last night--he hung himself.he was so popular! i don't know why he would want to just throw his whole life away like that. Everyone was crying their eyes out today. This morning, i woke up at 5:20 because i had to be at school at 6:30 to rehearse for an orchestra concert that we would be doing this morning. But when we got there, we found out about Evan and that the concert was cancelled. Then, we were all laughing. The reality just had't hit us yet, i guess. Once people arrived at school, so many people were screaming and crying, falling over and hugging each other. Even Nick Ott, the most strong and populr guy in the school, his eyes were red and swollen. Melanie Williams was pushing everyone that came near her and Ashley Zammtt threw a chair. (lol...) It's just kind of hard to accept because this is the second death this year. Stefan Szilassy was the first death--he was "murdered" in a fire tha his own father started. Only Stefan's younger sister survived. And when he died, the school didnt have a special announement in honr of him likethey did for Evan. They didnt have any councelling sessions to console Stefan's friends, but they did for Evan's. The teachers werent even supposed to talk about it when Stefan died, but Evan's death is all anone was talking about today. Stefan was my friend. But just because Evan was so extremely popular, he's getting so much more respect. Today, tons of people were a wreck. Ivonne, one of my best friends, I could tell was trying to hld back tears. I gave her a hug, and it all came out. she cried for a few minutes on my houlder then she went to the special councellingin the cafeteria. I felt so bad for her. she'sso sweet. I think it was selfish of Evan to do what he did. I know i shouldnt think him selfish because e's dead, but i mean, look at what pain its caused. Wasnt he popular enough when he was alive? Look at how upset everyone is. look at how messed up it is because of him. Even I'm sad and i didnt even know Evan. Well, i just wanted to get all that out.
