Subject: My ex is an idiot and everyone knows it except for him.

My ex just remarried. His wife is very young and they look ridiculous together. He did not tell our kids until after it was all over. My daughter is still recovering from the harm caused by living with him last year. The therapists are appalled that he married now and that he did it without consulting the kids or them.

I am lucky that the therapists see my ex for what he is. None of my children want to go to his house any more. My heart breaks for those of you who feel you have lost your children to your ex. I thought I did too but it seems the more exposure they got to him the less they wanted to see him. By forcing his position to see them more he has ended up seeing them less. He is down to once or twice a month for only an hour or two.

To all who are in the early stages, hang in there. More than likely your children will come around to seeing the truth whatever that may be. Be the parent you have always been for them. Be dependable and ever present. They still need all the same security, love, and reassurance; they just need much more of it than before.
