Subject: Moonlight

Blue in the cold light of the icy moon.
Hard eyes like silver acid eating through the stone encasment of your mind,
Leaving you naked in the glaring fairy light of the crystal moon.
Her words melt your icy thoughts into hot tears on your porciln face, smearing your painted cheeks.
Your in most thoughts spill from her bloodless lips,
As soft and deadly as the growl in a tiger's throat.
You let yourself fall into her,
Wrapping the cold around you as though it were not killing you slowly.
You embrace death with open arms and in the beautiful delerium of the night, you cling to the naked branches of the ice soaked trees.
Reaching into the moon you fill your hands with melted glass and drink deeply of its intoxicating death.
It coats your lungs with a black mirror to your soul,
And with this mirror you see clearly your own dark thoughts.
You fall from the bare arms of the ivory trees,
To the dewy ground below.
And as the moon looks down at your naked dead body sprawled across her earth,
She laughs a far off misty laugh.
And her soft breath coats you in the needle point warth of a blanket of ice.
But your eyes are turned inward as you close your eyes at last, you see only your own darkest thoughts.

PS- Please tell me what you think of this and my other poem.
