I WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT MANDATORY OVERTIME?
MY COMPANY PASSED OUT HOLIDAY DAYS OFF AT THE BEGINNING OF 2004. WE HAD BEEN GIVEN THANKSGIVING & THE DAY AFTER OFF.
NOW SINCE THEY ARE UPGRADING THIER SOFTWARE SYSTEM THEY HAVE TAKEN THAT DAY AFTER AWAY AND WANTS US TO WORK FRIDAY,SATURDAY AND SUNDAY DOING MANUAL INVENTORY AND PASSED A MEMO OUT SAYING THAT IT WAS MANDATORY TO WORK THESE DAYS.
I FEEL AS IF SAT & SUN ARE MY DAYS I WORK FOR THEM MON THRU FRI ONLY! CAN THEY DO THIS???? IS IT LEGAL TO MAKE PEOPLE WORK MANDATORY OVERTIME ON THE WEEKENDS???
