I am inquiring about a incident where a person was injured on the job(construction) was sent to the Er for treatment. Work related injury, no time off from work was required, but is now receiving bills and threats of collection for hospital bills. was told by collection agenct that if not paid, this bill was going against their credit record. This person no longer works for said construction company. What are options at this point, what direction should this person pursue. At the time was under the impression employer was handling the claim.
