IM CURRENTLY A JOURNEYMEN CARPENTER(OUT OF WORK IN MICHIGAN)MY QUESTION IS ON SWITCHING TRADES CARPENTERS UNION ISN'T GETTING ME WORK THUS MY FAMILY AND I ARE GOING BROKE.I CAN HAVE A JOB AS A LABORER LIKE MY BROTHER BUT NO WAY CAN I OR MY FAMILY WITHSTAND THE ENORMUOS PAY CUT IT WILL BE FOR ME TO START AT THE BOTTOM AGAIN AND WORK UP.SO SHOULD'NT MY PAST WORK EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE ACOOUNT FOR STARTING ME OUT AT A DECENT PAY RATE?IF SO HOW DO I GO ABOUT SWITCHING TRADES?PLAESE HELP!!!!!!
