Subject: Alittle labour law from Utah

I was told by a union steward last week,that in Utah if a person applies for a job for less money than the employee already in this position assuming the applicant has the experience,they can take the higher paid employees job.This sounds absurd to me.Although I live in Canada,perhaps this is how it works.Could you please find out whats going on with this rule and whether any persons have actually enforced this rule,since it came to be.Thank-you very much for taking the time.Michelle
