So who's going to watch it? We definitely will. The first few episodes will be the poor sods who never had a hope in hell of making it and whilst it's sometimes (quite a lot actually) cringemaking they have all signed a release so like the BB lot, ANY exposure is good exposure.

I know Sharon is in this series but is Louis back too or is he still looking after young men?

Vesna has gone from Oz BB house - in 3rd place..

Vesna brought tears, conflict, love and laughter to fellow HMs and tonight the public has decided to send the vivacious Vesna back where she'll no doubt be happy to be her own boss again, and will prove herself to be the strong and gorgeous woman we all got to know during her rollercoaster ride in the BB House.

The final in OZ is tomorrow...

GONGS FOR THE GOONS Aug 14 2005

By Garry Bushell

RESULT! Big Brother 6 was stuffed full of divas, drama queens and dust-ups and who won? A down-to-earth Geordie.

OK, Anthony was vain and a bit dim, but at heart he was decent; a nice, normal lad. All reet!

Second place went to Eugene, the sweet, sensitive nerd. And yes, admittedly he was weird and boring, but isn't it refreshing that voters valued honesty and openness over hissy-fits and self-abasement?

This year's housemates were a largely unpleasant bunch of big-heads and show-offs. Makosi had been an early favourite but she lost us with her porky pies and treachery. Those daft pregnancy claims were her downfall.

People who have read Orwell's Big Brother would have been reminded of the Two Minutes Hate. It felt uncomfortable; but that's because this show holds up a mirror to humanity and we don't always like what we see.

Here's my verdict on BB6:

Best talking point: Craig's unrequited love for Anthony.

Worst talking point: Kinga's bottle job.

Funniest moment: Kinga trying to get on that bucking bronco (above).

Most interesting housemate: Derek.

Least interesting: Vanessa.

Most annoying: stroppy Science.

Most spoilt: Makosi.

Most wronged: Maxwell - Endemol nobbled the voting to get him evicted (but team Saskia still won! End of!)

Biggest hypocrite: Kemal, who called Saskia a slapper, but admitted to sex with a stranger in a skip!

Biggest girl: Craig - weepier than most pregnant women.

Creepiest Moment: Craig undressing the drunken Anthony.

Most deluded: Makoski, "I have never lost anything in my life."

Top quote: Craig "Two words, Anthony - whatever."

Runner-up, Derek on Science: "He is the first black person to make me want to support the BNP."

Worst psychic: Mary, who, on Friday, predicted Eugene would win.

Top fakes: Orlaith's 30E boobs.

Biggest fake: Makosi (see also, Biggest Two-Faced Back-Stabbing Pathological Fantasist).

just to let you all know whats going on...

We are uploading the forum again - luckily we had the files saved on our computer - and we are in the start of uploading the database which could take quite a while.

Unfortunatly, the database we have if quite old so there will be a lot of stuff missing, like going back in time a few months.

We have contacted the server and are awaiting their reply, hopefully they will of taken a backup dump quite recently, and if they have then we will be able to upload a recent database.

In the meantime, if you go back and find that you arent registered then its because of going back in time, you will need to re-register.

We are really sorry about this and all the hassle to you guys should you need to re-register.

We are trying to sort this as quickly as possible.

SUMMER OF BRUV: ANT STILL MY FARE LADDIE
THEY'RE at it again! After grappling in the back of a cab, series winner and purported ladies' man Anthony Hutton gets up close and personal with stalker - oops, best buddy - Craig Coates.

The Geordie dancer, 23, and the 20-year-old camp crimper were never far away from each other after arriving together for the housemates' post-BB party at London club Bijous.

And, with Ant later resting his head on dressed-down Craig's shoulder, it was really just like old times for the show's most entertaining partnership.

Or was smitten Craig just giving him some advice on how to spend his £50,000?

McCall rounds on Brother critics

Big Brother host Davina McCall has called those who criticise her Channel 4 show "pseudo-intellectuals who have never really watched it".
McCall told Radio Times the show's contestants represented a balance of British society and were not "freaks".

The sixth series finale was watched by 7.7 million viewers, making it Channel 4's most popular show of the year.

McCall said she had signed up to present the next series, and could not imagine leaving the programme.

Channel 4 has already confirmed another two series have been commissioned, while Celebrity Big Brother will also make a return, possibly going out early next year.

Rowdy crowd

McCall said one of the only reasons she could think of for leaving is if producers started trying to manipulate people inside the house too much.

She added that she was under no illusions that it was a difficult job to do.

"It's easy to present - out with a very, very rowdy crowd talking to the camera," said McCall.

"But somebody would find it hard to come and do it - a bit like trying to fill Cilla's shoes on Blind Date."

McCall has an answer to the criticism that Big Brother routinely faces.

"The people who go into that house are a cross section of British culture. They're not freaks.

"Most of the people who put Big Brother down are pseudo-intellectuals who have never really watched it. If you do, it's a fascinating insight into life."

Cowell: G4 'won' first 'X Factor'

Simon Cowell has admitted that his rival X Factor judge Louis Walsh was the real winner of last year's show. Although his act, crooner Steve Brookstein, won the series, the runners-up went on to sell more albums.
Now Cowell is considering whether to offer Brookstein a new contract. "I'll have to have a very serious think about it," he told the Daily Mail today. "He had a No 1 album so I can't complain but I would be lying if I said that I went on to this show to sell 250,000 records. The irony is that Louis won, he sold a million (with G4). So I didn't win last year, he did."
He added: "My priority this year has to be Il Divo. They've done five million albums against 250,000 with Steve. So you know where your priorities are. Sometimes you win because you're popular. G4 came second and they sold more records. "All we can do on this show is give someone a huge push up the ladder. Without this competition there would have been no No 1 album. He would still be singing in wine bars."

The second series begins on ITV this Saturday

KINGA'S STORY

THE MIRROR

EXCLUSIVE: KINGA I WAS CONNED BY BIG BROTHER By Emily Nash

BIG Brother finalist Kinga Karolczak last night insisted telly bosses FORCED her to behave outrageously.

The 20-year-old told the Mirror she was plied with booze and offered cigarettes by producers to walk around the house topless. And bosses made it clear unless she made her big entrance to the house wearing a skimpy fig leaf outfit, she'd never get on. The wannabe also insisted she only pretended to pleasure herself with a wine bottle in BB's most cringeworthy scene ever. Her mum and stepdad, she claims, have now accepted this version of events and are "proud" of her performance.
She revealed: "I was handed the fig-leaf bikini about 15 minutes before I went into the house and I couldn't believe they were making me wear it. "I don't have the best body in the world and I really didn't want to go in like that, but Big Brother producers told me I wouldn't be going unless I did.
"They wouldn't even give me extra leaves to cover my tummy, so I had a couple of glasses of wine to relax. Once inside I thought drawing attention to my boobs might distract people from my weight. "Before I went in, one of the crew said to me: 'Don't worry if they laugh, it will just be because of the costume'. But I knew and they knew people were laughing because of my weight - it just wasn't fair."
Kinga was horrified to be offered cigs in return for walking round the house in Elstree, Herts, topless for a day and says she told producers "no way". Bosses insisted her only other choices were to steal Makosi's shoes or tell outrageous lies to her housemates.
She said: "I knew Makosi would kill me if I touched her shoes, so I chose the lies. I told Anthony I had a baby son, Eugene that I was a part-time dominatrix and Makosi that I'd done a porn film for £2,000." And she says pretending to Craig she fancied Makosi has left everyone reckoning she's gay. "I'm 100 per cent straight, although I did once snog 20 women in one night for a laugh," she huffed.
KINGA then insisted BB bosses edited the wine bottle scene and held back footage showing she was faking the performance. She added: "I can't believe the reaction. I was just messing around because I was tipsy, but it never actually touched me. "On Big Brother they want you to go crazy so give you loads of alcohol. And drinking makes me behave like a completely different person. So I just put the bottle between my legs, ran into the garden and did it again.
"I know I didn't even lift up my nightie. I didn't have sex in the pool or in the house, but everyone's labelling me as the slapper."

After finishing fourth on Friday, Polish-born Kinga was greeted with a chorus of Ten Green Bottles when she left the house. She said: "Davina whispered she thought I'd been brilliant and came within two per cent of Makosi in the vote, which made me feel better." She also revealed she'd had a crush on winner Anthony after watching him before she came in to replace Orlaith in week 10. Kinga sighed: "He's a very good-looking guy. I did get to snog him, which was fun, but he wasn't that interesting.Craig was a better kisser." And she revealed she had been happy to let gay Tory Derek and geeky virgin Eugene touch her boobs because it was innocent fun. As for Makosi, she would find it hard to trust her again: "What she said about being pregnant by Ant was awful."
The Pop hopeful was also hurt by Orlaith's comments about her to the other housemates. "When we were in the Secret Garden I thought we got on fine. But once she joined the house and I was out watching the show on TV, I heard her tell the others 'Kinga wouldn't have got on with anybody'. I couldn't believe she was judging me after such a short time."
Kinga said she had also clashed with camp hairdresser Craig after he and Makosi complained about her behind her back.

She said: "They made me feel really stupid, like they were laughing at me. I know I can be a bit irritating, but I was never two-faced." However, she will definitely stay in touch with Derek and Eugene. She said: "Derek was fantastic. Once he went Eugene was my closest friend. He has said he thinks I fancy him, which is not true." As for Anthony, he deserved to win because he was so genuine and down to earth. She then told how she's quit booze and plans to fight the flab to prepare for the music career she's dreamed of. "It's my main focus now and I'm hoping I can turn around all the things that were said about me while I was in the house."
Growing up in Poland with a Kuwaiti dad, who later left home, and her Polish mum Grazyna, Kinga says life was tough: "A lot of parents didn't want their kids to play with me. It was quite racist in those days." After settling in London, she was picked on at school by a girl gang - but got revenge by turning a fire extinguisher on them. She later she got an A* in music GCSE.
"I could hit the same high notes as Mariah Carey and Celine Dion when I was 11," she beamed, concluding: "Big Brother has given me the confidence I need. I'm not afraid of anything now."

Her manager Andy Lysandrou added: "She's so talented and such a great girl, when people hear her voice they're amazed."
He is planning a tour for her and hopes to sign a record deal for her in a few weeks.
