Appearance: Death is colorless. Death is the brown of a the dirt flung over a coffin, the grey of the tombstone, the white of bones, the red of blood, the color of the flames that change bodies to ashes; life to death. Aegyptus is as colorless and as colorful as death. He is no certain color, he is the color others see. When eyes see reality he is albino and bloodless. His eyes are diamonds that glitter terrifyingly in the dark, his claws solified ice, and his body and wings of smoke. He would have been attractive except for the unfeeling ruthlessness in his eyes. He is neither strong nor weak, and yet he is imposing in his strange disattachement from the world. His size appears to expand and contract even as fog does.
He has no sure shape, though he appears to be a slender dragon around his prime in life. He is no clearly defined scales and his skin is rather like a lizard's in texture and look, but not so easily pierced. No natural weapons like horns or spikes adorn his body; he has no need of them. His wings are like torn sheets: jagged at the edges. They cover him like sails and are as silent flying as the wind.
Sometimes he changes shapes. When he changes shapes his scent is also changed so that his prey will not know until too late. When this happens, he can be recognized by the small garnet stone set like a necklace into the skin where his neck flows into his chest.
Personality: He has no personality, because he does not feel emotions. He has no fear though he will instinctively run from fire. As he cannot die, fire does not kill him, but it causes him unbearable pain. It is the only thing that does. He prefers darkness to light and coldness to heat. At the same time he prefers nothing. He has no definite intelligence or stupidedy, because he lives as he was made to. He is the Grim Reaper of the dragon world, and he hunts down chosen victims to eventually kill them. Some escape, some don't. When he is done with a victim the victim is torn from their body to be placed in a world where only the dead - and Aegyptus - can roam. Most, perhaps all, never return.
To put him simply, he is an wild beast with a dreadful purpose. He can be tamed, but that has cost many a life. He is a wraith without a past life. He is not evil or good, he is just Aegyptus.
Aegyptus floats as gently as a feather down to land just as gently on the earth. Colorless eyes glance slowly around. He was not looking for inhabitable place to call his own; he wasn't even alive. No, he had smelt the stentch of future battles and fights and death. He was adept at that after so many years. A slender tongue flicks out between wickedly curved and bloodstained fangs. He could taste it now. Sniffing the air with the appreciativeness of a hunter, he settles for the moment; waits for the right time to come.
