I took home two firsts and a third, and my sister one third and two fourths. I thought the feis was awesome, but it was my first feis, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I really wanted to watch the treble reel and all of the Champions compete, but they were dancing at the same time the beginners were. Are you going to Memphis this Saturday? Well Riverdance is kind of representive of Irish dancing but also of ballet and jazz. My daughter's Irish dance recital is also a combo since the teachers feal Irish involves other types of dance too. -- It doesn't really represent traditional Irish I don't think, 16:38:32 05/14/02 Tue Hmm...Jazz? I dunno, I didn't really notice any of that, though I do think RiverDance revolves a bit to much around tap, in some parts. At my dance school we stick to dead traditional Irish Step Dance, we keep it within the tradition.
