1.)What's your favorite song to dance to? The Landlord's Walk and Dúlamán
2.)What's your favorite dance? ~ Reel and St. Patrick's Day
3.)Are you in jigs (hardshoes) yet? ~ Yup - 8 months of it
4.)What's your favorite step? ~ Our reel step! Haha, especially the chop chop part, but I love leaps and quivers. In hardshoe, I must say that the first step of St. Patrick's Day is totally awesome. Same with the Treble Jig.
5.)What do you find most complicated? ~ Hardshoe steps when you first learn them, and the 4-Hand the first time I learned it last August, but so much the second time, and definitely not the third or fourth.
6.) Do you prefer to dance solo, group or partnered? ~ Solo
7.)How many hours do you practice a week? ~ Ahh, all the time! Especially under my desk at school, and dancing around the house - does that count?
8.) Irish Dance can take it's toll do you have any injuries right now? ~ Shin splints :P
9.) Do you have any classmates that get on your nerves because they are extremly lazy? Some, yes. But now that I moved to Friday class, too, I'm not held back as much by their 'slow' learning and difficulty with the steps.
10.)On a scale from 1 to 10 how good of an instructor would you say your teacher is? 10!!!!!! Both! I love Deirdre and Cait! And even Claire when she comes, and Logan, though he's quiet, is cool, too!
11.) What do you think I should add to my site?~ Oh! Add a dance class diary! I'd love to take a peak into your classes!
