My mother took me to the doctor as I was entering puberty because my nipples were hurting. I didn't have to endure the measuring, but my mother watched as my undies were taken off, just like yours. I was very embarrassed.

I had the same problem during puberty. My nipples were inflamed and hurt, and my "man breasts" were swollen. My mother took me to the doctor and he examined my nipples (rather embarassing). He then had me drop my pants. He thoroughly examined my testis and my uncircumcised penis and pulled my foreskin completely back and examined my glans. My mother was watching. What embarassed me was my "man breasts". He concluded it was a part of puberty which I would out grow (and did).
