Date Posted: November 11, 2002 1:50:42 EDT Harold E. Leeds,an architect and designer, died on Oct. 29 in a nursing home in Manhattan. He was 89. Mr. Leeds designed buildings, offices and interiors and taught interior design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. He was chairman of the undergraduate school of interior design from 1959 to 1968. In 1968, he helped to establish Pratt's graduate school of interior design and became its chairman. In 1970, he formed Leeds Associates, with Suzanne Sekey. Among his commissions were the Paris Theater in Manhattan; the design store Bonniers, on Madison Avenue; the Caribe Hilton in San Juan, P.R.; and the dance studio of Martha Graham.
