Date Posted: November 11, 2002 2:31:43 EDT The body of a senior Pakistani provincial official's son was found Monday in a canal in the northwestern city of Peshawar, police said. The victim, Ziaullah, who used only one name, was a college student missing since Nov. 7. His body, recovered from the canal near his home, had a bullet wound on the left arm, police official Sardar Khan said. His father, Sanaullah, is a former air force official who now has a senior position in an anti-corruption department of the Northwestern Frontier Province, of which Peshawar is the capital.
