 The Flathead County sheriff says the remains of a three-year-old boy, missing near Kalispell, were found Friday night.

Sheriff Mike Meehan declined to release any details on the death of three-year-old Loic Rogers, who had been missing since Wednesday night.

Loic's father had taken the boy and his younger sister to the home of a family friend in Evergreen, an unincorporated area near Kalispell.

The father said he took the boy out to the car around 6:45 p.m., and went back inside to get Loic's little sister. The father says he was inside only for a minute. When he came back out, the boy was gone.

Sheriff Meehan is holding a news conference late Saturday in Kalispell. But in the meantime, authorities are saying nothing about where the boy's remains were found or how he may have died.
