 A tourist ship with 45 people on board sank Saturday morning in the Itajuru canal near Cabo Frio in Rio de Janeiro state, killing at least three people, GloboNews TV reported.

Initial reports also said many passengers were missing. The injured were taken to the Cabo Frio hospital.
