Someone posted the link here, and yes to all the people from over there reading this, I deleted it. I stopped reading over there at all because I got tired of scrolling past the chatting and debating and name calling to find the obituaries. I assume that's why this board has over 1100 hits: others are tired of it as well. When this board is mentioned over there it is always in a derogatory way. They are a bunch of supercilious windbags who have the "we were here first so we're better" mentality and so look down on my efforts. That's great - it means they took notice. We're a burr under their saddle, as long as this board is in existence they will not be happy. It's not why I started over here, but as an added bonus it's not so bad. I have been nice about their pig-headed comments and not retaliated, but you have to draw the line somewhere. I will no longer allow messages to stay that contain a link to the other board. I have received e-mail from several of you asking why I don't allow html anywhere except the message body. If you've visited other messageboards that allow pictures in the Name box, you know how it can make the whole page seem. This forum was created out of chaos on another board, and is intended to be easy to read, easy to find the information you're looking for. The text of the messages speak for themselves, we don't need all the clutter of pictures in the header to grab attention. Thanks to all of you who are reading the board and thank you for the e-mails of encouragement. Have no fear, they won't run us off! The board is staying put, enjoy yourself!
