You say "they used to be business partners"...well, usually that means each partner has the legal right of ownership to the software and products involved, unless there is something specific in writing that states otherwise. I would not call a man a thief and a liar just because a business partnership didn't work out. This happens in business all the time!
Sometimes people go into business together and have different ideas about how things should be handled, and arguments may follow, and if issues are not resolved, the partnership ends, and the parties involved go their separate ways. What's wrong with that? Why should one partner be labeled as the good guy and the other partner as the bad guy??? What exactly did Mr. Ram Sareen do that would make him a bad guy?
There is nothing wrong with reselling HP products. Many companies do that including Lectra. Many people think of Lectra as being a good company, and they are not. The bad things Lectra has done far exceeds any bad things that Tukatech has done. Lectra has stolen thousands upon thousands of dollars from its employees. It buys up companies, and misuses their employees. They take advantage of others, sometimes causing great personal injury and hardship for those unlucky enough to have ever gotten involved with those bastards at Lecta. Yet Lectra’s reputation is squeaky clean and Tukatech is under attack.
Tukatech is not stealing any products! They are buying them and reselling them. Nothing wrong with that! Most customers have no idea how to setup an HP Plotter on their system, so buying it from a middle man gets you additional support that you otherwise normally would not have. For many people it is worth it to pay a little extra money in return for the added technical support that goes with it. It’s much better to deal with Tukatech than it is to deal with those SOB’s from Lectra! We should commend Mr. Ram Sareen for all the good work he has done and not insult him!
