We have been TUKA users for almost six years and were also approached by Optitex, we heard all the stories from them but we know the truth, we were the early users of TUKACAD co-developed with Optitex, there is so much Industry Experience in Tuka organization that most of other CAD suppliers envy them. We were experienced Gerber users, we thought we knew it all, Tuka people taught us so much. Our MIS dept. investigated and found there is a big difference between Optitex version and TUKA. To someone new it may look like the same, (it had the same engine that was developed with the help of TUKA) but it is so far superior.
The version 8.94 that Optitex is trying to confuse TUKA users is simply a hoax, the version control is generally a reference number given by software company who is supporting the software, TUKA always gave their own version number. We bought from TUKA, we got trained, we got supports 24 hours a day and the service is excellent.
It bothers me when I see false statements being made. Optitex has so much to lose and it shows, they are desperatly trying to woo TUKA users, but TUKA is so far ahead, we have been testing their new version and it surpasses anything Optitex has to show. Our users evaluated new versions of both, Tuka is really an amazing company. Think why Optitex is trying all these tricks, they are lost without Tukatech.
