Okay Leonard [no "J"]

Gosh I thought I had indentified you as I found a site that listed all the users of what apparently is a fairly small web server's family and there was only one Leonard listed. Oh well maybe Shelock Holmes I'm not.

You are right though maybe I have not made my point clear either. The Orontius map is the only map that shows what appears to be a land mass at the South Pole. I agree that this is a land mass becuase it shows rivers and mountains. However I claim that it is NOT ANARCTICA but Australia since this very large mass of land [Australia] is nowhere to be found on it.

On all other maps that show what appears to be land masses at The South Pole I feel that since they do not show rivers and mountains they are in fact only showing ice and are not really continents at all. Therefore I conclude that there must have been a time, very recently, when the southern oceans were almost completely covered in ice.

So to put it clearly these are my conclusions:

1) The land mass on the Orontius map is not Antarctic but Australia

2) All other maps that show what appears to be continents at the South Pole are simply free floating ice fields since they lack the features of rivers, inlets and mountains.

In Love and The Light

Don Barone

I hope this may clear the matter up a bit.
