On the subject of star wars...

I think "The Empire Strikes Back" would have been more interesting if Darth Vader had turned out to be Luke's mother.

and i don't understand this Episode II. Between the time period of Episode 1 and this, the Queens ages like 2 years and Anikin ages like 10??? and then they have a love afair and end up having Luke and Leia lovechildren???

okay... and one more thing... i read this somewhere and i thought it would be worth posting here:

"Empire" is solid. Ewok-free. Darth Vader is evil throughout, unlike the third movie, where he takes off his helmet and smiles. I can't quite see Darth as evil anymore, because I know his head looks like your big toe after you've been in the bathtub for an hour. "Empire" has the defining plot twist of my generation, the no-Luke-I'm-yer-pappy line that absolutely stunned me. (I'd kept my fingers in my ears for a week before I saw the movie, just so no one could spoil it.)

Compared to this, the revelation in "Return" that Luke and Leia are brother and sister seemed contrived, and made all the PG-sexual tension between them downright creepy. What was next? Boba Fett is your second-cousin, Luke. Jabba is your uncle, the one who always smelled of beer and cigars. He developed a skin condition. Don't mention it, he's sensitive. Oh, and the Wookie is your mother; after your father left, she stopped shaving."

lol...

ps: just for the knowledge of who ever thinks Vader is good... STAR WARS was based on the bibical texts of Revelation (i'm not trying to go O'Keefe style here, but i have a point)... i read this somewhere to (another interesting reading):

"But one interesting theme I have noticed with the "Star Wars" movies, in particular " The Phantom Menace ", is the theme of the Antichrist, the evil dictator of the Bible's Book of Revelation. Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader is clearly a type of Antichrist. Let me first explain what I mean by the Antichrist.

"The Bible's last chapter, the Book of Revelation, includes a description of disastrous events to occur during a seven year time period in the future, including weather changes, wars, economic problems, new diseases, and the rise to power of a world dictator, the Antichrist, who at first will bring hope to mankind and will appear to be the saviour of mankind. The Antichrist will bring the world to a great war called Armageddon, however, which clearly is a nuclear war. Many people believe we have entered this seven year time period as we reached year 2000, so the Antichrist may appear soon (he could be Russia's President Putin). The Antichrist is a Satanic imitation of Christ, the son of Satan himself, and is somehow connected to the number 666. Note that 1999 has 666 upside down, and 1998=666x3.
In "The Phantom Menace", Anakin Skywalker, the young Darth Vader, is a slave boy living on the planet Tatooine where Queen Amidala's Royale Starship had landed for repairs, with two Jedi Knights on the ship, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi. The two Jedi Knights go off in search of repair parts, and enter the junk shop of a Toydarian named Watto, a very nasty creature with hoofs and short wings, that reminds me of the "New Jersey Devil", a scary creature that has occasionally been seen in the past in New Jersey. (Biblcal theme-- the young Antichrist, Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader, is a slave to the devil himself, this creature Watto). The boy assists the Jedi Knights by winning a race and therefore winning the parts the Jedi need to fix the starship. Later the boy saves them again when war comes, as he pilots a space fighter ship. He is the hero of the movie, bringing hope to those who are without hope. And the boy was born by "immaculate conception" -- having no father -- to his slave mother (again, imitating the birth of Christ). The boy is found by one of the Jedi Knights to have a tremendously high level of "The Force", so at the end of the movie he has been chosen to be trained as a Jedi Knight. Of course, in later movies the boy has grown up to be Darth Vader, and now is a master of the dark side of the force, an evil Prince of Darkness on the idea of the Antichrist. Note that the keyboard on the chest of Darth Vader is sort of an evil imitation of the breastplate with precious stones worn by Aaron in Exodus in the Bible's old testament. This implies that Darth Vader is sort of an evil High Priest. Also, consider that the hero of the later movies, Luke Skywalker, -- Luke is a Biblical New Testament name, being the name of one of the New Testament books. So Luke Skywalker is a type of Christ who defeats the evil Antichrist, Darth Vader. so, you see the theme of the Antichrist with Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader, one who works miracles and brings hope as a boy, but as an adult he goes over to the dark side, becoming a Prince of Darkness. And in "The Phantom Menace" this frog-like underwater creature Jar-Jar helps the Jedi and the queen win the war, raising an army; in the Book of Revelation 16:13 (King James version) the Antichrist sends out "unclean spirits like frogs" to the kings of the earth, to cause them to raise armies for the battle of Armageddon. So the "frog" theme again has Biblical symbolism. And there also is a "prophecy" theme in "The "Phantom Menace"-- it is believed by some in the movie that the boy could be the one who will fullfill the prophecy of one who brings balance to The Force -- so a Prophecy, as Revelation 13 is a prophecy of the coming of the Antichrist."

weird stuff huh?

so in conclusion.... never mix alcohol and math... don't drink and derive.
