I'm guessing he comes across as quite confusing to those who haven't read the books...I think if you go see the movie again you might like him more. Or pity him. It's a mixture of both for me i guess..

If I tell you there will be spoilers for RotK...TTT sorta hints at what's to come with the scene where Arwen is standing by Aragorn's grave. At Elrond's urging Arwen appears to be leaving with her people to go to the Grey Havens (Do you want me to tell you what happens?)...

Yeah that sorta made me mad too that they put that in the previews. But you know what's funny? Everytime I see the movie there is at least one or two people that I clearly hear gasp when Gandalf appears. Quite funny...

Couldn't agree more! :) Did they show the preview to Pirates of the Carribean in your theatre? (With Johnny Depp and Orlando?) The last time I went I had this teenie sitting beside me, and she couldnt sit still. Everytime Orlando appeared on screen she would start making these strange noises...squealing and giggling.

I thought I was gonna have to 4-3-2 battle her ass. LOL.
