She made her way into the kitchen and smirked a touch as she saw the drinks being poured, settling herself at the counter and leaning herself over it, propping up her pretty face with a cupped hand. Everyone had joked about how perfect Charlie and she were together and how they never argued- only her mother and her brother really knew what they had been through together- and these days- more and more- it was her mother she was coming to- rather than her brother. Her mother was just better at the relationship stuff it seemed. She let out a sigh as she reached for her drink, sucking the contents through a straw as she waited for her mother to get settled.
