• It was often around this time of day that he scooted home from work for a couple of hours, or sometimes for the rest of the afternoon to finish things up from work - mostly because he loved to walk in on that scene, of the two of them konked out on the couch. It never failed to amaze him, how soft her skin was, how fluffy her hair, how tiny she was still... it near took his breath away everytime he picked her up, and he cradled her lovingly against his chest for a moment, brushing his hand down her back easily. • She squished over intot he couch to make room for him, curling to his side as he lay down with her, resting her head on his shoulder and closing her eyes once more, her legs locking with his as she snuggled up close to him. He tucked her under his arm and nestled her close like he always did - their relationship was filled with physical affection - and not just sex - he loved her and even if he didn't say it regularly, which he did, she would have known just through the way he handled her physically. " The thing about a four month old baby was the sleepless nights- and he was less lucky than her because he had to go to work the next day whereas she could sleep whenever Anabel did here at home- and when they'd had a particularly restless night and Aly looked shattered Mali or one of their moms always offered to take the baby for a couple of hours so Aly could nap a little. • He made a bit of a face, and laughed. "Maybe I should cancel our lunch reservations then and get to work on babyproofing the house. You know you can pay people to come in and do that? They'd think of things we wouldn't..." He liked Anabel right now because she was easy - she didn't move around unless they moved her so they could pretty much keep her safe, but when there were two dogs and a child in the mix, underfoot, sticking tongues and fingers in electric sockets... he was going to be going bald. • He frowned again and looked back to the dog. It might be premature, but this would come - he could tell by the resolve in Aly's voice, and it worried him. He'd had Desi since she was a pup - she'd been with him through thick and thin, it hardly seemed fair to toss her aside after she'd given him her whole life. He kept his lip tight though, not interested in an argument right now... if she was saying it was premature, he knew there would be plenty of time to rehash it later on, so now he could just build up his argument. "And he said he knows someone from XRV radio that is itching for some new talent to play on his show... so he thought he could get me in there as soon as we cut something and polish it... • She had always supported him and had faith in him- and she'd always let him know it, but these were steps he had to take himself. "Thats amazing... are you excited?" She was starting to wake up a little more now, she'd rather be chatting to him than sleeping anyway- she never tired of his company. She worried sometimes that he wasn;t happy- that he was unfulfilled and discontent, music had always been what he had planned when she'd met him and then one thing had led to another and because of her he;d ended up doing something he didn;t enjoy- and now he was continuing to do it to provide her and the baby with material things that he seemed to think were important. • He nodded a little, thoughtful for a minute... he didn't usually allow himself the luxury of thinking what it would be like if he did ever launch as a musician... tourbuses, late nights, screaming girls... and where would Aly and Ana fit into all of this? • He laughed when she made the remark about eating but got up, pressing a kiss to the baby's forehead before he went - he couldn't get enough of her. He moved about the kitchen, preparing the bottle, and grabbed himself a hunk of cheese to eat, only proving Aly's inference about the child being his own. He came back to the couch, handing her the bottle and nestling back down beside them, an arm over Aly's shoulders as he tugged his little family tight - content with just the three of them now, no matter how large they grew.
