Paul Hayward, some years ago there was a demonstration of spoon bending by somebody from Britain (I don't remember the name), and I took along an ordinary coathanger. But the performer's handler refused to use it for bending, which led me to the assumption that spoon bending required some special spoons only, that probably had been "doctored" in some way.
