Matthew Morgan sat on the front porch with a pipe in his mouth overlooking his work. The field to the left was filled with riping crops and the cow is lazily grazing off to one side. A slight smile flickered on his bearded face, they were going to make it. The smile quickly faded as he thought about his daughters. He had sent Chloe out alone, though Shylock their beagle was with her, he still could not stop worrying especially when they were new to this land. He hoped they would be back soon. His other Daughter Elisabeth who, although she was 18, didn't like letting her go off on her own either, for he couldn't bear to think if anything happened to them what he would do. Though he pushed those thoughts out of his head as his fifteen year old son Daniel stepped out on the poarch.
"Did you finish up the dinner plates?" He said bluntly to his son.
