I believe in personal responsibility. No one is responsible for choices but you, no matter what the circumstance. I believe that your attitude is the easiest thing to adjust in your life. I also believe that it is important to be strong, yet supportive. I stick to my beliefs and ideas, yet understand that not everyone feels the same way. I expect nothing but the best my staff can offer, nothing more, nothing less. I expect to be treated the way I have treated someone, so I strive for kindness. I also hold my ground and will not be pushed around. For me, excuses should be avoided, but apologies are always accepted. Mistakes are unavoidable at first, but should be learned from. The RA and HD jobs are jobs and should be treated as such, but they are fun jobs and should be enjoyed.
We chose our staff because we believe they will be able to conduct themselves in a responsible manner. They will understand that they have a job to do and will do it. I think they will also be able to accept suggestions without feeling criticized. We chose people who have strength of character and convictions.
