with Jamie Dana. She is the former USAF dog handler who was severely injured in Iraq in 2005. When she came to in the hospital, the first thing she asked about was her dog Rex. She was originally told Rex had been KIA in the explosion. When she returned to the US and was in the hospital, she found out that Rex not only survived, but was also in the States, not too far away, awaiting a new handler and deployment. They had a reunion in the hospital. When Jamie asked to keep Rex upon her ultimate discharge due to her injuries, she was denied because Rex was under the retirement age for War Dogs. It ended up taking a special act of Congress to allow her to adopt Rex.

Anyway, I want to invite her to the 2007 Veterans Day Parade here in Phoenix and to march with us.

Any advice on what I can do to make direct contact with her would be appreciated. Jamie is originally from Pennsylvania, but exactly where, or if she has returned, I don't know.
