Scottsdale, AZ is planning a event this fall, The Vietnam Experience. I have been talking to the officials organizing this, and there WILL be a booth to explain, honor, and salute the Vietnam canine. In fact, its already beginning to look like we will be a primary, or anchor booth, and looked upon to be a big draw for the event. I would appreciate any stories you have and wish to share. Pictures which I will return to you. K-9 insignia....anything you wish to make available for this tremendous event.

It kicks off September 15. As I said, there will be informational booths. There will be discussion groups that will be videotaped. Authors of books on Vietnam will be invited to discuss their books. The movies Deer Hunter, Full Metal Jacket, and Platoon will be shown and open for discussion. The event will conclude with a special ceremony on Veterans Day.

All in all it has great potential for getting the word out about our dogs.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
