The chances of you contracting the HIV virus is higher if you and your partner do not practice safe sex. It is recommended that you use condoms each and every time you have sex. Latex condoms and water base lub with a spermacidal additive will be best. I will also recommend condom use for oral sex as well. The use of dental dams is recommended for rimming your partner. HIV and other diseases can spread during this sexual act aswell. Semen is one of the four body fluids responsible for the spread of HIV. Avoid contact of broken skin to body fluids, the virus can enter the body through broken skin. If you've had unprotected sex with you partner it will take approximately 30 day before the anti bodies for HIV to appear in the body. If you get tested before that time period, you can receive a false negative reading. After the first test, the results come back negative, return and have a second test done in three months and every three months after that. If you still receive a negative reading after a year and six months, then you are lucky. But remember safety first. When the cloths comes off the condom goes on. That way, you will know that you are always protected.
