Hey all,
Hopefully you can help me out. Ok, about two days ago, my dog banged his area above his hind left leg, the soft tender area(hopeufully you know what im talking about, it wasnt his leg which was hurt, but the area above it, to describe it better, if i was talking about a human, id say kidney area, just below the rib cage, hopefully youy understand which part im talking about now).

Well he yelped when that happened, and the next day or so, i noticed he wasnt running around, or jumping up like he used too, and consequently his mood is not lively anymore. He seems a bit down...which is understandable. You see, he was jumping off my bed, but the blanket was obstructing his view and i think he hit himself off the bed post, which is fairly sore i imagine, ive belted my knee off it a few times(OUCH). So ive given it two days, im going to give it a few more days and if there is no improovement, ill bring him to the vet. But does anyone know if this is serious by the sounds of it or not, he is eating, going to the toilet which is normal, but i was wondering if you can tell me any advice or anything.

Thanks,
Andy
