dear ashley,
im sorry u never knew your father that well. being a father myself who spends all my time with my son. i do know that i have sang for alot of 80s bands and that the road takes a ton of your time from your family.i would see your dad every time we had a show in LA. sweety, your dad was trying to make a future for himself and had every means of putting u first in it. he toured his ass off hoping to make life easier for u all. also being so young when he died u were only child. ray thought he had the rest of his life for you. im not saying it was right being gone but he loved u with all his hart! i dont want u to have any single thought that your daddy didnt love u. ray loved u and never had a chance to show u as got older. sweety, you can see by these post what your father ment to alot of people but, the person who ment most to him was you! hard to let someone know when your on the road and when that child is so young. i hope your mom and her husband are great but u remember that your dady loved u and hes watching over you now.u carry a piece of history in your blood. i want u to realize the magnitude of that.im sorry u have to learn about your dad from these post but, alot is not true! he was not a druggy!nor was he gay or any other wierd ass thing. just a guy trying to make people happy through his music. im sorry half the world learned after he died.ashley if u feel look me up on the web im here if u need anything or wanna talk about your old man.. randy py (warrant and drag strip riot)
