Say you and your friend(another guy) meet a very attractive stranger(a girl or guy depending on your preference) in the apperiate setting. The both of you, being the studs that you are, goes to hit on her. What would eventually happen, especially if your firend is a litte bit bastardlly or the two of you are just really desperate, is that the two would try to impress the girl with your stong points while repeated trying to downsize the other guy. Now what can this crude analy teach us about the brick analogy? Sometimes in life when you really want to achieve something, it is human nature to try and stop the competition, even if doing so whould not make you the coolest guy around. Morals and ethics are good, but its hard to use them as standards; its easier to treat them as suggestions.
