Subject: Earthquake Survivor!

Hi All My Relations,

First of all congrats to Ted for doing so well at the Residential School conference in Edmonton! I heard by the grapevine that you made an impressive presentation.

I was on the 4th floor of my office when the earthquake shook the building for about 50 seconds. It made me feel like jelly - swaying side to side. I thought myself "Mother earth is letting us know whose in charge!".

Today I am at Stef's, we get together every Sunday to do Art work I'll send you some cards cards for Easter. Katrina is getting bored needs to be looking for a job or school. Last week I went to a Pow-wow in White Rock and ran into cousin Janet, Koko Glady's daughter. Another time I went to Safeway close to my place and the grocery clerk told me your the the second Whitehawk I'm serving today. So I got all excited and asked her who this was and she says a man that shops there regularly. The mysterious man remains anonymous to me. Needless to say I was disappointed.

Monica I'll check out the fake cakes for you.

Oh, Yeah, I quit smoking, two months already.I organized a stop, decrease or smoke free home for one month and won a trip to stay in a fancy hotel in March. So I will be living in luxury for a weekend. Last week the girls and I went for an overnight to Bellingham,Washington, we had fun stayed in a hotel and shopped. There are so many beautiful places to vist on the coast.

Love to all and hope you get spring weather soooooooooon!
Myrna
