Jimmy is bak baby!let the arguments commence,wow i can say that i have seen legenday bands such as soulfly, metallica, sepultura and slayer when i've grown up, oh i have 2 say sumthing 2 annoy sum ppl, METALCORE DOESN'T EXIST,U R A FOOL BEN AND NO ATTER WHAT TREND IS AROUND, METAL ALWAYS SURVIVES,DNT FORGET IT FUCK FACES!

haha u fools hardcore is shit that actually is hardcore2 b there, sepultura, soulfly, the berzerker, my god if u had seen carcass bak in the day,it ain't funeral for a friend,hiding with girls or nuthing(altho those bands ain't bad),hardcore is comin out of a gruesome gig and being able 2 say i survived the fight pit of say,the berzerker! then always remembering how gruesome it was,that's hardcore,oh and sleepng on a canal boat called ruddigore is hardcore, stay gruesome love jimmy

Jimmy is right! As i speak from experience of Berzerker fight pits not only surviving 1 but inficting harsh wounds and experiencing true brutality, thats Hardcore!
Not some fucking emo excuse for hardcore. oh and any emo kid who thinks they are hardcore is more than welcome 2 accompany us 2 Slayer or Sepultura where they can prove it!!

jimmy i seem to remember outside the gig at the legion that u r listening to "funeral for a friend" and that u were going to see hiding with girls. so u r contradicting ureself. fight pits are for battymen.metal is no way near as intricate as hardcore and metalcore is just a hardcore influenced metal. and if u just like metal then u r doing nothing in supporting the local scene. jimmy u would be dealt with in a hardcore pit

Ben, I don't see you supporting the local scene, the likes of Marvel and Dexters Fish.

And another thing. I see no point in circle pitting. I don't see any reason to go round getting hurt and hurting other people mindlessly. Does it help make the music sound better? Can't you just stand there and listen the bands play? I think it's all about young men basted in too much testosterone. Resist the urge to fight! PACIFY THE PITS!!!

first of all, you were at the gig because it was your only option. you have openly and publicly said how much u hate DF and Marvel.

Secondly, just because Trashcan got marvel, doesnt mean that YOU ben are supporting the scene. we all know that rou and keith are the only pewopl who do anything in trashcan, and i sometimes book bands.

so ben, you arguement is flawed

In the fight pit i get out all aggression, it also shows my respect, i want ppl goin nuts at my gig, also u look out 4 each other, if ne1 looks like their in trouble every helps em coz at the end of the day we care,like some unwritten rule i s'pose, plus u get goodies frm it, like mikey did at mudvaybne when he got sum1's ripped t-shirt!

I agree with Fran, i would rather relax at the bar or sit down, actually listening to the music rather then getting myself beaten up, my body was in pain after Finch.
With this whole "metalcore"/"emo"/"metal" arguement, i mean its pointless.
Liking "emo" doesn't make you weak, liking "metal" doesn't make you super strong, "metalcore" is around and yeah some people don't like the name but most people don't like the terms they get called so why are you we making a big deal out of "this?.....and jimmy, i know you do like some emo so you can't slate it and bands like cryforsilence, no one said they were emo...just a band a lot of people can like.
Also i admit i am not a huge fan of the local scene of st albans but go to other places and i like it...it doesn't mean i don't support it. Just not my cup of tea.

aaa u metal boyz crack me up. nick upperton hes in the 4 ppl who always wears their "arch enemy" top and they all look well funny when they wear it together. oh yeah fran and in beatdown pits u rarely collide with other ppl, theres just greater skill level envolved and more self expression rather than seeing how much damage u can to yourself and others around you. the payback boyz are truely metal.
