~Having just been in the process of pulling himself to his feet, his fists clenched, his eyes flashing over thoughts of throttling his little brother, you can image his shock whenever the beautiful maiden came running into him, falling into his lap and sending him crashing right back to the ground. Though, he quickly recovers. Laughing, he wraps his right arm around her waist, keeping his still bleeding left wrist away from her lovely dress as he plants a fierce kiss upon her lips, happiness exploding in his chest to see that she made it away okay.~

"Alive and kicking."

~Kicking out one of his booted feet just to emphasis this, he chuckles happily before wiping his bloodied wrist upon his pants and rising to his feet, picking Satine up as he goes.~

"Come along, love, they'll be back."

~Swinging the maiden about for a moment, he then chuckles lightly, nuzzling his nose into her cheek before marching off towards the edge of the clearing with her still in his arms, her body melting against his once more. This was where he belonged... where she belonged. With each other.~
