:-: Tall sonars churned at the chatter of sound as dusty paws rapped upon the earth, eased pace set at a comfortable trot. Fleshy tongue dangled lightly from slackened jowls as the young Komau made his way through tangles of brush, turquoise hues enthused. Hanging precariously from those jaws was a fairly large hare, freshly killed by the young wolf. Yes, Mohokave had found the young one about the Lands and swept him under that crimson wing, teaching him about bits of the pack. And so, ending the youth brigade was his practice kill, that fat old creature sitting among the reeds of the stream. His right of passage, one could say. :-:
:-: A mused pelt of frosty ivory ruffled about his rippling physique, oscillating with each step stolen. That ever-present goofy face slathered about his visage as he came to the lateral side of the Den, breaking through the barricade of tall grasses with jogging leaps. Finally, the Den. Head lowering, the neck craned justly, oculars of sea blue peering to the clearing outside the mouth of the Den. Cautious, the yearling was. He wasn’t going to just parade about when his elders were afoot. Respect. :-:
:-: A brief pause, jousting the rabbit in his jaws, before mauling over it with those fangs and tongue, tasting the savor of the creature. Spheres shifted, catching the reflective glimpse of the timid Jasmine Ryder just beyond the Den. A twitch of whiskers tickled that maw as he stood at the side façade of the Den, pensively watching her movements, ears fanning forth upon that angular skull. He was nervous around that particular she-wolf, for it had seemed she held raging distrust against Komau the first time they encountered one another. But, it was fair enough. She didn’t know him, he didn’t know her. Just being cautious, she was. :-:
:-: And so, a chuff breathed softly through black nostrils, gathering his thoughts. Forelegs strode forth, pushing away the fawning blades of grass as he sidled closer, bristly appendage whisking gently, set in rhythm to his steps. Toes splayed, feeling earth beneath his wake as he came into the view of Jasmine, ears taking a slight bow. He stood respectively a few feet from her as he watched with a Mediterranean blue gaze, a soft whine bubbling from his occupied maw. :-:
:-: Gaze shifting, Komau watched of the bodies tumbling within the depths of the Den, figuring them to be the ones he brought the hare for; Valoris and Jayani. A careen of muzzle brought the hare to the earth as Komau dropped it by Jasmine, still dithering a few feet. Tongue ran over the sable lips of the male as a soft yiff pressed against his throat, eyes watching for any reaction from Jasmine. Lupine beacons flicked to and fro as he stood, forelegs splayed, positioning the yearling wolf in a sort of crouch. A whine again, huffed though as the snout dipped, nosing into the limp spine of the hare, inching it towards Jasmine. :-:
“This is for you, and the pups. It’s fresh..."
:-: Mmm.. great small talk, Komau. :-:
OOC: I’m guessing Valoris and Jay are in the Den, correct me if I am wrong.
