A simple blink was all that was offered in way of reply from the young Gamma for a long moment, eyeing Komau with a new sort of apprehensive respect. He had not advanced, not threatened; he had merely asked for her company instead of offering his. Moreover, he had asked for her company. From her experience, males were more prone to demanding. She began to shift as he moved closer, as if jumping the gun despite his kind words, but relaxed once more as he began to tease Valoris. So he, too, had a fondness for the little pups.
Caught up in her thoughts, glancing between Komau and the now-sleeping Pertinex, the yearling had almost forgotten to accept Komau's offer to eat. Finally she approached the rabbit, tore into the flank of one leg and began to chew delicately, demonstrating to Valoris how to properly eat. "Silly pup," she added softly, between bites. At last she lifted her head toward Komau, mahogany eyes put at ease for once.
"I don't mind," the young female said, equally as softly as she had spoken to Valoris. "You can stay if you want to." It was only a half-forced reply, ears swiveled back toward her skull in uncertainty, but after a moment of decisive thought they began to relax. What harm could come to her? Komau seemed as shy as she. Jasmine continued to eat, but not too much, and glanced up at the male after a moment. "You should eat, too. You caught it." Always the motherly type, she had no intent on letting anyone go hungry, especially after he had been so kind to catch the rabbit for them.
