Hiya people,
I think the problem here comes from the difference between realality and idealism. Idealy the founding fathers came here seeking religious freedom. Let's be real people. The main people who came to America with any wealth (and the founding fathers were the ones with money) were not seeking religious freedom. They were mainly people who had money but no power due to the fact the England was a monarchy. If they truly believed in the religious freedom they would have to believe in freedom for all which goes against what they actually did which was screw over the indigenous population then bring over slaves. As far as a "wrong" Christian there is no such thing you either are or are not.The word Christian is only used three times in the Bible and in each instant it was used by a non-Christian to describe a Disciple of Christ. The word "Christian" really means follower of Christ. Disciple means student or follower so the 2 terms are interchangable
