'Wha..? Who?...' Z'var's eyes come to rest on Jes, and widen as they take in the shining golden hatchling that is by her side. He jumps up, accidentally elbowing Branth in the process, and strides over to his firend, face wreathed in smiles.

'Congratulations!' Z'var grins devilishly, the spark of mischeif again present in his green-hued eyes. He begins to speak, then winces and smiles sheepishly. 'Branth demands I introduce him.'

The glittering dark bronze hits Z'var in the stomach with a large snout, telling him that that was a stupid way to do it, then nods engagingly towards the two females.

'I am Branth.' he speaks to the gold, not sure if her rider would be able to hear him 'And the oaf is Z'var. We are pleased to meet you.'

Z'var laughs affectionately. My, how your manners have improved since lunch. he thinks to the dragon.

'Shut up.' Branth returns, then adds a polite 'Please.'
