Well I installed mine in the supply line (bottom one)
After visiting with a local transmission shop, we came to the conclusion that since most of the time I do not tow, it would be better for me to use the aux. cooler to pre-cool the fluid and let the stock in tank cooler act more as a warmer to keep the fluid at operating temperature.
It was a real PITA using the bottom line. If you want an easy install go for the top line (return), DEFINATELY!
