Date Posted: 08:28:32 09/20/02 Fri In reply to: Jim 's message, "Dimensions OK but still looks odd" on 07:45:16 09/20/02 Fri It appears that the bed is similar to the Isuzu Hombre. But tech. the bed appears to be from the South American Crew cab, which appears to be what the Hombre looks like. The crew there looks much different now though. I think the bed is wider than the body which causes the strange look. My ZR5 flare covers alot more of the bed so it's not as noticable as the regular crew. My bed appears to be lined up well, but when the chassis flexs more down the line, it will probably get out of line then, but all trucks do that to an extent anyway. Minus the strange gas gauge, the truck is great. I looked at all the crew cabs before getting the S10. Minus the Toyota(which is about 6K(without leather)than the ZR5(with leather), I don't think the other downsize crews were any better than the S10(IMHO). I have not bought an american made car in a long time too so that says something about the S10.... :) Cheers, Con >From day one it looked to me as if the bed didn't >belong to the same truck. Must be because it's an >Isuzu bed with S-10 looking fender flares. If I come >across a wrecked one hit in the rear I want to >lengthen the frame & put a sport side bed on it.
