wow, IMHO, at that price, you could just pay for say a used tranny and install....... I would suggest shopping at aftermarket ones and see if it's cheaper. Since the 4.3/tranny has been around should not be hard to get one used, but I guess it depends if the revision we have is similar to the older engines/tranny though. I finaly did not get the GM Major Guard and just kept the 100k "powertrain" from Geico. It has a 250buck decutable but it's only costing me 30bucks/year.
