I did mine about probably a year ago and have had no ill effects, however, they are not maxed out. I did it to level out font to rear. If you look at the adjusting bolt I have approx. 7/16 inch of threads left before it bottoms out.
Mine came from the dealer ship with the alignment way off, and the pass. side tortion bar backed way out (sagged the right front).
